Programa final i llibre de resums
We are organizing this scientific meeting to bring together all groups working on Virology in Catalan Universities and Research Institutions.
Organization and structure
The meeting will take place at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC, carrer del Carme, 47, 08001, Barcelona) on Monday 4th of December, 2017. The program will be organized according to the number of participants and the subjects of the scientific communications. All presentations will be held in English.
This year the guest speakers will present key and novel features of clinically important viruses.

We invite PhD students and postdocs to submit original abstracts for oral presentation.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Registration
The deadline for registration is the 27th of November 2017. Registration forms should be sent using the web link (http://www.iec.cat/jornades/virologia2017.asp). Abstract submissions should be sent by mail.
Registration fee: 20 € for PhD students, 0€ for SCB members and 40€ for the rest. Payment must be made by bank transfer to “La Caixa” account number 2100-0963-61-0200010607. Please, do not forget to specify your name. For further information please contact us at: scb@iec.cat
Oral presentations
Participants should submit a 250-word abstract (Times New Roman 12 pt, MS Word format) together with the registration form before 10th of November 2017. Please include the title, authors and complete address (Institution name, postal address, email address). Due to time constraints, it is possible that only a certain number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. PhD students are particularly encouraged to give a talk since it is a great opportunity to show their data and projects in a relaxed and friendly environment. The duration of the presentation will be 10 minutes.
